what is qualcomm atheros ar9485 wireless network

I have been hoping for an update for this network adapter as I have been having network connectivity issues for several weeks and many times the windows diagnostic resets this network adapter. I have an HP2000 Notebook PC running Windows 8.1

Business PCs, Workstations and Point of Sale Systems.

Printer Wireless, Networking & Internet.

DesignJet, Large Format Printers & Digital Press.

Printing Errors or Lights & Stuck Print Jobs.

Notebook Hardware and Upgrade Questions.

Unless you need Windows 7 for some programs and such. Just stick with Windows 8, and get start8.

I don't know if it's the new 7260 that does it or if it's the latest update on my Airport Express (wifi router). The laptops wifi stops internet connection sporadically. so hopefully Intel won't botch the drivers again as they did for the 6235 cards on some users, but it worked fine for me, when I had it (put it in my parents ancient laptop). it might have some Driver issues at the start but it is basically brand new after all. If you are not in a hurry to buy the latest AC cards.īut I personally recommend the Intel 7260 AC since it has better signal than the stock Wi-fi card. Yeah the 1202 sounds like a winner since it has awesome reviews and speeds and the advertised prioritising for games. So I won't be testing out the new AC wireless until Christmas or some crap since I gotta buy Battlefield 4 too. Yes I have upgraded my Wireless card with Intel 7260 AC this friday.īut S**T happened and now I gotta buy new In-ears instead of the new ASUS RT-AC56U which sadly costs the same x)
